Today I went for my braces consult and I could not be more excited to go back!When... I first walked in I was greeted, offered sparkling water and was made to feel at home. I met Dawn and went back to have my x-rays and teeth scanned, all a delightful experience.I then met with Dr. Ohara who listened to my concerns, explained my options and gave me a positive outlook with my choice. They already had my insurance information, which I was delighted to be told that some was covered! I came to Edmonds Orthodontics on referral from my dentist. I had an impacted canine... tooth and a baby tooth that needed to be removed. They were so knowledgeable and helped me to set up an extraction of the baby tooth/exposure of the canine. My canine moved much slower than expected but they stuck with me and never seemed frustrated by my stupid tooth even though I sure was! They used really cool methods to encourage the tooth to move and as you can see in the after photo posted below, it came down (eventually)! They were wonderfully transparent on what process was happening, what's gonna happen next, and clear directions on what to do to care for your teeth. Also, their practice is honest and prioritizes you (I've talked to some offices that wanted more teeth taken out or try to talk you into more expensive procedures, this office does not do that). Dr. Kim & Dr. Ohara are great! I just finished my Invisalign treatment with 2 office... visits, one to start the treatment, and one to re-scan for retainer. All the weekly scans and follow up was so easy via the app. My bite works great and looks awesome now. Shareen, the coordinator always goes above and beyond when I have questions and needed supplies. Everyone I met in the office were wonderful to work with. I hadn't plan on orthodontics at 60, but I need my teeth to work well for another 20-30 years.read more
